SESAUA Resident Opportunities
SESAUA Resident Course
The Southeastern Section sponsors an annual robotics course in Celebration, Florida. One resident per academic program within the Section is invited to attend the course. For additional information, please contact Samantha Panicola in the SESAUA Executive Office.
SESAUA International Volunteerism Program
The SESAUA remains committed to promoting experiences in international volunteerism for the section’s residents. The Section will support up to eight (8) residents to participate in the IVUmed Scholarship Program and an additional six (6) residents, at $3,000 each, to participate in other volunteerism opportunities. The funding period runs from January 1st – December 31st.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR 2020 GRANTS:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Southeastern Section has placed a temporary hold on the grant program and is not accepting grant proposals at this time.
The Southeastern Section of the AUA, Inc. understands the importance of humanitarian volunteerism both within the section and abroad. The SESAUA Board of Directors has approved the authorization of up to $20,000 per year for humanitarian volunteerism purposes to be evaluated on an annual basis. These funds will be divided up upon the advice of the Executive Committee. SESAUA members in good standing are eligible to apply for a grant. Applications are accepted annually from April 1st – June 30th and recipients will be notified of the award by September 15th.
